Our client is a renowned name on the Maltese islands. As they are growing, they are engaging a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees the company’s entire finance department and reports directly to the CEO.
The Role
- You will manage all financial operations, including planning, risk management, reporting, and compliance.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Oversee budgetary planning, cost management, and long-term financial forecasts.
- Optimizing resources to ensure maximum efficiency and organizational growth.
- You will manage financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting.
- You will identify and mitigate risks while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for the CEO, board, and stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for managing tax compliance and coordinating with auditors.
- The role includes overseeing subsidiaries, international operations, and third-party service providers.
- You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- You will ensure adherence to regulations, governance standards, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- Must be a warranted accountant with an ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Have strong leadership skills.
- Must have a minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Have excellent communication skills
