On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Manager to join their team. Responsibilities:
Plan, lead, and execute audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, including investment, finance, and trading, in compliance with ISA, IFRS, and applicable Companies Law
Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements and related tax computations in accordance with IFRS and Cyprus tax legislation
Review the work performed by junior audit staff to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance prior to Senior Manager review
Contribute to staff scheduling, audit budgeting, and monitoring of engagement progress against timelines
Maintain regular and effective communication with clients and internal teams to obtain required information and resolve ongoing matters
Track daily audit activities and provide periodic status updates to the Senior Audit Manager
Support, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
Participate in client meetings and ensure audit deliverables meet agreed objectives and client expectations
Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple engagements concurrently
Perform additional audit-related responsibilities as required
Requirements:
ACA or ACCA qualified, with a university degree in Accounting, an IT-related qualification will be considered an advantage, supported by a strong academic background
More than five years of experience within an audit firm, including a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, Cyprus tax legislation, and CaseWare
Highly developed analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Professional, reliable, and self-driven, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English; knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian will be considered an advantage
Strong IT proficiency and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both clients and colleagues
