Audit Manager

  Nicosia  |  €36,000 - €42,000 Annually 

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage audit activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing the overall efficiency of our audit processes.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and perform audits for multiple clients across various industries (e.g.investment, finance, trading) in line with ISA, IFRS, and Companies Law

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax computations in accordance with IFRS and Cyprus tax legislation

• Review audit work of junior staff, ensuring quality control and compliance before Senior Manager review

• Assist in staff allocation, budget planning, and tracking audit engagement progress

• Maintain direct communication with clients and internal departments to collect information and address ongoing matters

• Monitor daily work status and report regularly to the Senior Audit Manager

• Support, train, and guide junior team members; contribute to a collaborative team environment

• Attend client meetings and ensure audit deliverables align with client expectations

• Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments efficiently

• Perform other audit-related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or CPA designation is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
