A Maltese business group within the FMCG, are looking for an Assistant Credit Controller, who will be supporting the Credit Controller and finance team by managing customer accounts, following up on payments, and helping ensure timely collections.
Main Responsibilities:
Monitor customer accounts and track outstanding balances
Follow up with clients on overdue invoices in a professional manner
Maintain accurate records and perform basic account reconciliations
Assist with credit checks and the management of credit limits
Support the preparation of debtor ageing and internal reports
Work closely with sales and finance teams to resolve payment or account issues
Investigate and respond to customer queries related to invoices and statements
Requirements
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Familiar with Excel and accounting systems
Fluent in English (Maltese is a plus)
Education and Experience
Previous experience in accounts, finance or credit control considered an asset
