Accounts Receivables Officer (South of Malta)

  South of Malta  |  €20,000 - €25,000 Annually 

Our Client within the oil and gas Industry is looking for an Accounts Receivables Officer to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and send accurate invoices on time.
  • Post and reconcile payments, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and project account records.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up to recover payments.
  • Reconcile ledgers, prepare aging reports, and update management.
  • Address and resolve customer billing or payment issues.
  • Keep organized records to support audits and compliance.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
  • Assist with financial reporting, audits, and other admin tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Category B driving licence and own transport (due to location).
  • 1–2 years’ experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar role (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to speak Maltese will be considered an asset.

Education and Experience

  • MQF Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
