Accounts Payable: Team Lead
We are working with an international client who are looking to add an Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage the growing work load.
What you'll be doing
Lead, train, and mentor the AP team while fostering a collaborative work environment
Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, and reconciliations
Monitor AP aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely supplier payments
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and support accurate financial planning
Assist with month-end and year-end closing, reporting, and bank reconciliation reviews
Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and compliance
Drive process improvements, including automation initiatives and policy development to enhance efficiency and controls
Requirements
Half way through ACCA or 4 years of work experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Knowledge of NetSuite will be considered an asset
