A client of ours, a large group of companies operating in various industries is looking to recruit an Accounts Officer to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will be assigned to work on a specific portfolio of companies within the group
Responsibilities:
Conducting general bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, reconciliations and other duties up to trial balance
· Updating of Accounts Payable records and related reconciliations
·Timely processing of payments
· Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
·Coordinating with auditors and other stakeholders as needed
Handling document filing responsibilities
Undertaking any additional duties as required
Requirements
Understanding of basic accounting principles, terminology, and processes
Knowledge of MS Office applications
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team to meet deadlines
Excellent written and communication skills in English
