Our client, operating within the travel, leisure and retail is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute invoices and customer statements
- Assist the Finance Team with debt collection activities as required
- Record and post cash, cheque, and bank transactions
- Support monthly bank reconciliation processes
- Create and process purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and share financial data
- Manage petty cash and other daily cash transactions
- Provide assistance during the annual audit process
- Contribute to various finance-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Minimum three years experience in a similar role
- Hold excellent intrapersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication skills in English
Education and Experience
- A minimum A level standard of education is required
