Our client, operating within the payments industry, is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their growing Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Processing of invoices including retrieving inputs from the systems and ensuring this is in line and accurate
Posting of purchase invoices whilst supporting the payables accounting process
Processing and posting of bank transactions including transfers, cheques and other charges
Issuing monthly statements and reconciling accounts
Liaising with suppliers and debtors
Preparing and maintaining a creditors' list for payment runs
Managing petty cash and related reconciliations
Assisting with travel related disbursements
Generating reports related to departmental expenses and assisting with anything related to audit
Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role locally, a minimum of 1 year
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese
Education and Experience
Holds an advanced level in Accounts or related qualification
