Our client, a well established audit firm, is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their growing Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Posting transactions and maintaining of accounting records
- Administering of bank accounts
- Preparing financial statements and liaising with auditors
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts, budgets and other financial reports required by clients.
- Ensuring work is being done in line with any regulatory requirements at all times
- Assisting with daily administrative tasks and any other duty which may be required from time to time
Requirements
- Possess excellent communication skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Key eye for detail
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
Education and Experience
- In the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification
