Our client, is looking for an Accounts Clerk - to work 30 hours weekly. The selected candidate will report to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including the processing of purchase invoices, inventory-related entries, and reconciliations.
Perform additional accounting tasks such as reconciling supplier statements, posting journals, updating general ledger entries, and recording petty cash transactions.
Verify delivery notes against supplier invoices to ensure correct pricing and quantities.
Allocate expenses to the correct cost centres, ensuring accurate coding and approval of invoices.
Prepare periodic reports as required to support account analysis and financial review processes.
Communicate professionally with suppliers, external auditors, and other stakeholders to resolve queries or provide requested information.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the finance department, including filing and document organisation.
Requirements
Similar local experience within Finance Department
Preference given to candidates having knowledge of Shireburn Financial Manager and/ or Microsoft Business Central
Education and Experience
Having an ‘A’ level qualification in accounts or equivalent, is considered as an asset.
