Our client within the tech industry is looking for an Accounts Associate to join their team.
Main Responsibilities include to :
- Issue sales invoices for bills and issue recurring bills accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Process and pay invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial position.
- Handle VAT returns and VAT recaps, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Prepare management accounts, including financial statements and reports under the supervision of the CFO
- Manage salary payments (payroll is computed by a 3rd party) as well as payments due to the Commissioner for Revenue, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Reconcile debtor balances and follow-up on receipt of balances due. Reconcile creditors and request statements.
- Collaborate with auditors during the audit process, providing necessary support and assistance.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is mandatory
Education and Experience
- In the final stages of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent
