Accounting Manager

We are supporting an international company who are looking for an Accounting Manager to help train, guide and lead their accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 8 professionals, ensuring tasks and requests are completed efficiently and on time
• Provide regular updates to local and international management on operational and financial matters
• Drive the team to meet key deadlines, including internal reporting, VAT, tax, and other regulatory requirements
• Prepare and monitor monthly cash flow forecasts
• Review statutory financial statements in line with IFRS, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Oversee month-end results prepared by the team and maintain clear communication with Head Office
• Manage the audit process, including coordinating with auditors and ensuring all deadlines are met
• Support recruitment efforts and conduct regular performance evaluations

Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• 5 years local experience, preference to candidates with management experience
• Previous experience within the hospitality industry will be considered an asset.
• Thrives in a fast-paced working environment and demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication

Education and Experience

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
