Accounting Manager

Our client, operating in Financial Services, are searching for an Accounting Manager, to join their growing team: 

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary client contact, managing relationships and providing tailored accounting solutions.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team (3-5 people) including hiring and training.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Facilitate external audits, coordinate with auditors, and implement audit recommendations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Capability of leading a team
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
