Our client offering corporate services to a diverse range of clients from different industries but with a particular focus on financial services is looking for Accountants at various levels to join their growing team:
General Responsibilities:
Assist the existing team in preparing management accounts and financial statements.
Assist in clients’ monthly payroll runs.
Assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns.
Liaise with clients to ensure the appropriate management of companies.
Be proactive in ensuring that companies meet their filing deadlines.
Liaise with auditors and banks.
Duties will be assigned according to one's background and seniority. Salary would be allocated according to qualifications and previous experience.
Requirements
Previous local experience in an accounting role
Fluency in English. Maltese speaking is preferred
Sophisticated, detail-oriented and able to work on their own initiative
Education and Experience
In possession or in the process of obtaining an accounting qualification such as ACCA or equivalent
