Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be a vital part of our financial engine. Your mission is to ensure precision and provide the insights needed to keep our diverse operations thriving.
Core Responsibilities:
Master the Ledger: Take ownership of general invoices and post key accounting entries through to the trial balance stage.
Cash Flow Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring every posting and payment is accurate and reconciled.
Banking Precision: Execute bank entries and perform meticulous reconciliations to maintain a clear financial picture.
Team Support: Handle the monthly payroll computation, ensuring our hardworking staff are paid accurately and on time.
Audit Readiness: Prepare internal audit files and act as a key point of contact to assist during the audit process.
Insights for Growth: Generate operational reports that provide management with the "big picture" data needed for strategic decisions.
Department Synergy: Contribute to the overall success of the finance team by tackling ad-hoc tasks that drive our collective objectives.

Requirements
A minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
Actively studying a Bachelor's Degree/ACCA or being at the final stages of qualifications.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and good organisational skills.
A proactive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Candidates must be conversant in both English and Maltese.
