A new opportunity as a Junior IT Support has opened to deliver technical support to users and external business partners while maintaining and optimizing the performance of systems, hardware, and software.
What you'll be doing
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across all company offices.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate complex incidents when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, software, and equipment.
- Train and assist users to enhance their understanding and effective use of technology.
- Manage user accounts and access rights in accordance with security policies.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
- Support the implementation of IT security protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system and network performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external vendors to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support / Systems Administration
- Strong knowledge of windows operating systems.
- Must be able to communicate in English and Maltese
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
- A valid Driving Licence is required
