A leading international organisation operating across manufacturing and corporate environments in multiple EMEA locations is looking for an experienced Systems & Network Administrator to join its IT team.
This is a hands-on infrastructure role responsible for the administration, security, monitoring, and continuous improvement of critical IT environments across multiple sites. You’ll work with a broad range of enterprise technologies and play an important role in ensuring the availability, resilience, and security of business-critical systems.
What You'll Do
- Administer and support VMware vSphere environments hosting critical infrastructure and applications
- Manage Microsoft Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba network infrastructure, including switching, routing, wireless, and site connectivity
- Manage Veeam Backup & Replication, including backup operations, recovery testing, and disaster recovery readiness
- Monitor infrastructure performance and availability using PRTG and other monitoring solutions
- Plan and implement server, operating system, and infrastructure patching
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and compliance requirements
- Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience initiatives
- Provide Level 3 technical support and assist with complex infrastructure-related incidents
- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and improvements
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, or a similar infrastructure role
- Strong hands-on experience across VMware, Windows Server, Linux, networking, and backup technologies
- Practical knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, and/or UniFi infrastructure, including switching, routing, and wireless
- Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and infrastructure monitoring tools such as PRTG
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure resilience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, combined with good organisation and attention to detail

Education and experience
- A CCNA certification is a must
- Diploma Level 5/Bachelors Degree in IT
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Exposure to IT security frameworks, audits, business continuity, or disaster recovery planning is preferred
