Seeking a proactive Network Engineer to deploy, maintain, and support client communication networks across Unified Communications, Data Center, SDN, Cloud, and Wireless environments.
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and WLAN configurations.
- Deliver network solutions across IP technologies, Cloud, SDN, and Data Centre environments.
- Apply core IP and internet technologies, including DNS, VLANs, SNMP, DHCP, and routing protocols, to optimise network performance.
- Analyse complex network issues, diagnose root causes, and implement efficient technical solutions.
- Coordinate directly with internal teams and external clients to explain technical concepts and deliver project milestones.
- Manage multiple concurrent network tasks and projects efficiently in a high-velocity environment.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of internet and IP technologies, with a strong understanding of DNS, VLANs, SNMP, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Positive and proactive approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IP/Internet technologies (DNS, VLANs, SNMP, DHCP, and routing protocols). CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or an equivalent vendor certification would be an advantage.
