IT Operations Engineer

Our client is currently seeking to recruit an IT Operations Engineer for a job opportunity in Malta. Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, the IT Operations Engineer will be responsible for the daily administration of customer systems and services.

Your Responsibilities:

Set up, manage, and handle daily tasks on customers’ cloud and security setups.

Collaborate closely with clients to deliver and improve IT managed services.

Guide customers on all aspects of systems and network security across tasks.

Proactively perform maintenance and enhance services for managed environments, covering systems, networking, security, and cloud.

Manage remote monitoring and management systems, including responding to alerts and conducting regular system reviews.

Maintain open communication with customers, keeping them informed on incident progress and upcoming changes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Good team player and able to work independently.

Education and experience

• A minimum degree in  IT or experience working in a similar role.
• IT certifications like Azure administration or Microsoft Security Administration are a plus
• Passionate about IT with ideally 1-2 years experience in the field
