Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team.
What you'll be doing
- Support the management and maintenance of the Bank’s IT infrastructure (hardware, software, cloud, virtual environments, backups, and end-user devices).
- Ensure high system availability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Perform installations, upgrades, configurations, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide 2nd-line support and assist with 1st-line incident resolution.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers on escalated issues.
- Contribute to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and follow best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of working experience in IT infrastructure or administration
- A strong understanding of Networks and Firewalls (ideally Cisco)
- Strong understanding of Windows Servers & Active Directory
- Experience with Cloud services, ideally Azure
- An understanding of SQL Data bases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of VM Ware and experience with Veeam is highly desirable
