Our client, one of the leaders in commercial and residential projects, is for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, verifying, and managing quantities from construction drawings, as well as conducting accurate on-site measurements to support cost control and project efficiency. This role plays a vital part in ensuring budget accuracy, project quality, and financial accountability across all phases of construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately extract and verify quantities from architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Conduct precise on-site measurements to validate design data and construction progress.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and tender documentation for pre-construction phases.
- Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and value engineering exercises.
- Track material usage and evaluate contractor claims against actual site performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support procurement and contract administration processes to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year, recent local experience in a similar role is a must
- Valid driving license
- Excellent level of English
- Strong knowledge of measurement techniques, cost estimation, and tender documentation.
- Proficiency in quProficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit is considered an asset
