Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC or construction projects?
We are looking for a driven, commercially aware and highly organised Project Manager to take ownership of exciting building-services projects across residential, commercial and industrial environments on behalf of one of our clients, locally.
You’ll be involved in the delivery of turnkey MEP and building-services projects, working across a varied portfolio that can include residential and mixed-use developments, apartment blocks and larger residential developments, commercial buildings and office developments, hotels and hospitality projects, amongst others.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of allocated projects from planning through to successful handover.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover.
- Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, resources and timelines.
- Coordinate clients, contractors, subcontractors and internal departments.
- Oversee site operations, quality, progress and subcontractor performance.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, logistics and project requirements.
- Manage variations, delays, claims, certifications and snagging.
- Ensure projects meet contractual, quality, health & safety and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support Project/Site Coordinators and ensure effective project reporting.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular progress updates.
- Identify issues early and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of project management, including scheduling, budgeting, risk and quality control.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised, adaptable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the confidence to make decisions independently and under pressure.
- Excellent English communication skills; Maltese is an advantage.
- Category B driving licence.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar software is an advantage.

Education and experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Project Management, and/or
- Proven previous experience in project management or coordination in a relevant industry such as mechanical or electrical building services (including HVAC) or the construction industry.
