Our client in the Retail and Entertainment Industry is looking for a Cost Controller to join their Finance and Inventory Team. This role is a stand alone role, and the responsibilities are:
General
Calculating costs of ingredients for all menus
Handling the menu pricing in relation to profit margins
Handling reviews and updates to the menu prices
Supporting management to develop profitable menu strategies
Collaborating with chefs and menu development team
Analyse sales data
Inventory Management
Reviewing and monitoring levels of food and beverages supplies
Monitoring inventory levels and stock movements
Conducting inventory counts and reconciliations
Monitor stock variances and implementing corrective measures
Implement inventory control procedures
Handling stock rotations
Cost Analysis
Analysing the trends, variances and areas of improvement
Preparing cost control reports and present findings to management
Assisting in areas of improvement
Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes related to operational costs
Supporting in the pricing strategies and cost analysis
Compliance
Ensuring records and documentation are updated
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and internal control
Supporting any new initiatives
Assisting with the audit and stock investigation
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of local experience working in a cost controller role
Experience in the retail industry and stock control would be considered an asset
