We are seeking a strategic Cost Control Manager to lead the overall commercial, contractual, and financial management of major construction projects. Operating as the lead commercial representative on-site, you will safeguard financial interests, ensure robust governance, and maintain effective cost control across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Develop project budgets, manage contingency funds, oversee cash flow forecasting, and deliver executive financial dashboards.
Commercial Leadership: Establish commercial procedures, identify value engineering opportunities, and manage the on-site commercial and quantity surveying team.
Contract Administration: Administer construction and consultancy contracts, ensuring strict compliance with contractual obligations.
Change & Claims Control: Oversee variation processes, assess contractor claims for additional costs or extensions of time, and negotiate commercial settlements.
Stakeholder Coordination: Provide timely commercial advice to leadership and coordinate closely with designers, engineers, and contractors
