Operations Coordinator (Shipping)

Our client is looking for a motivated and organised Ship Operations Assistant to join their growing operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling logistics coordination and documentation related to vessel arrivals, berthing, cargo discharge/loading, and departures.
• Coordinating daily operations with principals, port authorities, clients, and external service providers.
• Supporting the Operations Team with administrative and operational tasks as required.
• Assisting with vessel attendance at Malta ports and shipyards when necessary.
• Ensuring all documentation and operational procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum MQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
• Fluent in both English and Maltese (spoken and written).
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of a valid driving licence.
• Must be already residing in Malta for a while.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Previous experience or knowledge within shipping, maritime operations, or logistics will be considered an asset.
