Reporting to the Farsons Direct Manager, the Logistics Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination of warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate warehouse operations including stock receipt, storage, movement, and issuance using the WMS.
- Manage stock control and ordering to ensure accuracy and optimal availability.
- Oversee order processing from picking and invoicing through to delivery and returns.
- Plan and optimise delivery routes and schedules.
- Support and coordinate warehouse and logistics staff to maximise efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers and drivers to maintain service levels and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and security standards.
- Monitor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all deliveries are invoiced according to Company procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.
- Good organisational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 15:30/16:30). Overtime on occasions on Saturdays & Christmas Period. Paid as per law.
