Our client within the manufacturing industry is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team.
Responsibilities
Coordinate installation planning by liaising with others to identify ready orders, prioritising jobs, and scheduling appropriate installation teams based on capacity, location, and complexity.
Book and confirm installation appointments with clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Plan daily installation routes and workloads to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
Oversee daily field operations, ensuring installation teams are properly equipped, briefed, and dispatched on time.
Monitor progress of installations, maintaining real-time visibility of job status and acting as the main point of contact for installers.
Manage on-site issues promptly, coordinating with other teams to resolve challenges effectively.
Escalate complex or high-impact issues to management with clear recommendations.
Conduct end-of-day handovers with installation teams, collecting completion records and payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date installation records, documentation, and system updates.
Oversee tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, availability, and inventory tracking to support field operations.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, field operations, or a coordination role.
Experience within construction, manufacturing, or installation sectors is highly advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English.
Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on and accountable approach.
