Reporting directly to the Head of International Business, the Exports Officer is instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of the Exports Business Unit. In alignment with the company's strategic focus on international expansion and innovation, this position centers on meticulously managing client orders and coordinating outbound global shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process comprehensive documentation for all international air and sea freight, including purchase orders, proforma and commercial invoices, customs paperwork, and system-generated orders.
- Collaborate with various internal departments and external shipping agencies to ensure all necessary parameters are met prior to the release of orders.
- Facilitate seamless export operations by streamlining document preparation, guaranteeing that shipments are dispatched accurately, on time, and in full compliance with legal and corporate procedures.
- Communicate effectively with international clients via written and verbal channels to assess their requirements and swiftly resolve any issues.
- Administer invoicing procedures and ensure that all internal systems, transaction records, databases, and registers are accurately maintained.
Experence and Requirements
- A Diploma or an Advanced Level of education.
- Exceptional written and spoken English proficiency; knowledge of other major European languages (such as Italian or French) is a distinct advantage.
- While not strictly required, prior experience in international shipping and familiarity with export documentation is highly desirable.
- Strong digital literacy, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent multitasking capabilities with a highly organized and proactive approach to teamwork.
- Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
