Our client is looking to onboard a Customs & Logistics Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end movement of cargo, customs compliance, and inventory management. This role works closely with carriers and customs authorities to ensure smooth supply chain operations and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping and import/export documentation, liaise with Malta Customs, and process entries via local customs platforms in line with international laws
- Plan, coordinate, and track freight transport from origin to destination, partnering with local and overseas carriers to minimize transit delays
- Facilitate the receipt and dispatch of client goods and maintain accurate, up-to-date daily warehouse inventory records
- Coordinate daily with internal teams to prevent operational delays and deliver seamless client support
- Handle procurement of supplies, manage facility lease services, generate client quotes, maintain filing systems, and process jobs through to final invoicing
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or customs clearance operations
- Knowledge of local customs clearance systems and familiarity with Malta Customs procedures and international import/export regulations
- Proven ability to process job sheets, issue quotes, manage client invoicing, and maintain precise warehouse inventory records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English & Maltese to liaise effectively with carriers, port authorities, yard teams, and clients
- Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in standard office software and administrative management systems
