Our client is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Clearance Administrator to join their Customs Clearance Team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process customs documentation for both import and export shipments.
Liaise with customers to obtain all necessary documentation required for customs clearance.
Ensure customs entries are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Assist clients with customs-related queries and provide guidance on shipment clearance procedures.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate the prompt clearance and delivery of shipments.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Support the Customs Clearance Team in achieving operational targets and service standards.
Requirements
Previous experience within a shipping agency, freight forwarding company, logistics organisation, or the purchasing department of an importer or manufacturer.
Sound understanding of shipping, freight forwarding, import/export procedures, or customs-related processes.
Good standard of education.
Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; ECDL certification will be considered an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
