The Concrete Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient coordination of logistics related to the delivery of concrete. In this role, you will ensure that customer satisfaction is prioritized while guaranteeing the highest quality of both the concrete and the delivery service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Receive, schedule, and manage client bookings for concrete deliveries in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Resource Optimization: Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure bookings align with available operational resources (including drivers and vehicles), focusing heavily on maximizing delivery efficiency and sales output.
- Inventory & Resource Monitoring: Monitor and manage the availability and utilization of resources to meet daily operational requirements.
- Internal Liaison: Work closely with internal teams involved in the production and delivery process—including batchers, the Head of Department, drivers, and laboratory personnel—to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with customer specifications.
- Fleet Support: Assist the garage department in ensuring the effective maintenance and availability of the truck fleet.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the laboratory department to promptly address and resolve any quality-related issues.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum MQF Level 3 (O'Level Grade 1-5) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Languages: Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with scheduled overtime on Saturdays as required.
