Our client, operating in the Payments industry, is looking for a Test Analyst to join their growing team:
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
- Maintain test suites from both test case management and test automation perspectives.
- Ensure proper test case traceability and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and validate test cases.
- Update and refine test cases based on review feedback and changing requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests in accordance with approved test cases.
- Analyse application behaviour during test execution and capture evidence for further investigation when required.
- Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot defects, determine root causes, and address issues in a timely manner.
- Log, track, and follow up on defects using Jira.
- Maintain accurate task status in line with defined processes and workflows.
Requirements
- Basic experience in APIs
- Good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Testing Concepts
- Good knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins etc.
- Knowledge on SQL and database
