About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to partner closely with our Product and Implementation teams, bridging the technical gap across the entire project lifecycle. In this role, you will tackle high-impact challenges: building high-throughput solutions capable of processing massive transaction volumes, applying machine learning for anomaly detection, and creating intuitive data visualisations to empower suspicious transaction investigations.
Responsibilities
- Architecture & Delivery: Analyse complex technical challenges, design scalable systems, and write clean, maintainable code.
- Implementation Support: Guide and assist the implementation team with client integrations, platform customisation, and performance scaling.
- Product Evolution: Drive continuous feature enhancements and architectural improvements across our product suite.
- Technical Support: Assist with high-tier support escalations and technical troubleshooting when needed.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Golang or Java, alongside hands-on experience with modern web frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with event streams and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Solid grounding in SQL, database optimization, and working in Linux environments.
- Strong analytical reasoning, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent time management.

Education and experience
- 4+ years of professional experience building web applications and client/server architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be located in Malta with local experience
