We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Vehicle Fitter to join our client.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Remove, install, and reassemble vehicle body parts and components in accordance with repair specifications;
- Ensure all components are fitted correctly and securely;
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks;
- Inspect, clean, and prepare vehicle parts prior to installation;
- Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure repairs meet company standards;
- Work closely with Panel Beaters, Spray Painters, and other workshop personnel to support the repair process and meet deadlines;
- Follow all health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organised work area;
- Accurately record completed work and report any issues identified during the assembly process;
- Support the workshop with any additional duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.
Requirements
- Good understanding of vehicle body components and assembly procedures;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team;
- Proficient English communication skills. Maltese is considered an asset;
- Candidates must be located in Malta with a valid work permit;
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and experience
- Previous experience in vehicle assembly, automotive repairs, or a similar workshop environment;
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively;
