Our client is looking to onboard a Security Manager to lead the security operations to ensure a safe, well-controlled environment for guests, employees, visitors, and contractors. This leadership position oversees emergency protocols, access control, team management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance to protect property, people, and business reputation.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily security operations across guest, back-of-house, parking, and restricted areas
- Conduct regular patrols, manage access control and key systems, and oversee lost-and-found procedures
- Recruit, train, roster, and evaluate security personnel
- Conduct briefings and deliver training to ensure high standards of discipline, appearance, and emergency readiness
- Lead response efforts for incidents including theft, medical emergencies, fire, and security breaches
- Investigate and document events, preserve evidence, and coordinate with local police, fire, and emergency authorities
- Oversee CCTV, alarm, and electronic access systems, ensuring routine maintenance and defect reporting
- Maintain security footage and records confidentially in compliance with resort policies
- Partner with management to review procedures, participate in emergency drills, enforce Health & Safety standards, and resolve operational security risks
Requirements
- Proven experience in a security supervisory or management leadership role, preferably within hospitality or high-footfall environments
- A recognized qualification or certification in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field is an asset
- Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills with proficiency in standard office software and security technology
- Deep understanding of Health & Safety regulations, emergency response protocols, and legal compliance
- Full professional fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities
