Project Manager

Our client is an upcoming construction and development company. The company is being managed in a professional and corporate manner and prides in a high quality product offering. They are now seeking a Project Manager who is experienced in construction and development who is ambitious and focused.

The Role

• You will be responsible for overseeing building projects from initial planning through final completion.
• You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations.
• You will require thorough knowledge of Maltese construction laws and planning procedures.
• The Project Manager must understand and comply with standards set by the Building and Construction Authority.
• They must also be familiar with requirements established by the Planning Authority.
• The Project Manager coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
• You will prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules while monitoring progress against key performance indicators.
• The role involves conducting regular site visits to ensure health and safety compliance and adherence to quality standards.
• You will manage procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and oversee subcontractor performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• You will preferably have a related qualification
• You have experience in handling large scale construction projects
• Be diligent, assertive yet approachable
• Has excellent relationships skills
• Must be strategic and yet operationally saavy
