Our client within the manufacturing industry is currently looking for technicians to join their dynamic team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carry out planned, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems;
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process-related faults to minimise downtime;
- Inspect, monitor, and test equipment to identify potential issues and improve reliability, efficiency, and safety;
- Assist with the installation, modification, commissioning, and improvement of machinery and equipment using technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools;
- Perform additional technical tasks, including welding, gas cutting, brazing, lubrication, and plumbing, where appropriately trained and authorised;
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure effective shift handovers, including communication of equipment status and outstanding maintenance tasks;
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to resolve technical issues, provide support, and share technical knowledge;
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company procedures, housekeeping standards, and applicable quality and environmental requirements.
This role operates on a rotating three-shift basis.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English. Maltese is considered an asset;
- Eligibility to work here in Malta;
- Willingness to work on 3 shift basis.

Education and experience
- Technical qualification at MQF Level 4 or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field;
- Candidates with previous experience within the manufacturing industry are preferred;
- Having licence A and B is considered an asset.
