We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be working alongside our maintenance team, you will ensure boilers, pumps, grinders, pallet presses, and conveyer systems run safely and efficiently to minimize production downtime.
Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs on industrial equipment and vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and service specialized machinery, including boilers, pumps, grinders, pallet presses, conveyers, and pressure control systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues promptly to carry out necessary repairs and minimize equipment breakdown time.
- Undertake additional technical training as required to stay updated on facility equipment.
Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
- Hands-on mechanical experience servicing industrial machinery and vehicles
- Working knowledge and experience with boilers, pumps, grinders, conveyers, pallet presses, and pressure controls.
- A valid Driving License is considered a strong asset.
- Fluency in the English language: written or verbal is a must.
