Our client is looking for a plant maintenance technician to support the Plant Manager in maintaining factory equipment, facilities, and overall site operations in a safe, clean, and efficient condition.
Duties and responsibilities area but not limited:
- Assist with machine troubleshooting and repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Oversee general factory upkeep and repairs, ensuring full compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Supervise and direct the Maintenance Officer and Cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of work quality and safety.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance across utilities, and building services.
- Coordinate external service providers and contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Conduct regular facility inspections, maintain accurate records, and ensure all statutory inspections and servicing are completed on schedule.
- Proactively identify maintenance needs and operational efficiencies, reporting recommendations to the Plant Manager.
- Carry out additional tasks reasonably assigned by the Plant Manager to support overall facility goals.
Requirements
- Fluency in English language
- Facility maintenance experience
- Wireman license A or B is an asset
Education and experience
- Relevant experience is an asset
- Machinery troubleshooting experience and knowledge
