Our client is looking for someone who is an addition to their technicians, and will be handling Plant rooms, and of the manufacturing area in a Pharmaceutical company.
Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Operations and Maintenance Technician working within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
- Responsible for ensuring the continuous operation, maintenance, and compliance of core plant room utilities.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting on plant room infrastructure, including steam boilers, chillers, air compressors, water purification systems (RO/WFI), and industrial HVAC units.
- Monitors, inspects, and services manufacturing, filling, and packaging line machinery to maintain optimal uptime and minimize production disruptions.
- Completes all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment logbooks strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Supports equipment calibration, routine testing, and environment-controlled room monitoring to ensure product safety and quality compliance.
- Maintains strict compliance with Site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols, hazardous waste management, and emergency response procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum MQF Level 4 qualification in engineering or a related technical field
- A good technical and engineering background
- Good documentation and computer skills
- A sound command of written and spoken English
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar technical, manufacturing or pharmaceutical role will be considered an asset
- An Electrical Licence A and/or B will also be considered an asset
