We are currently looking for a skilled and hands-on mechanic t owork industrial workshop environment
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carry out servicing, routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles within the garage;
- Diagnose mechanical faults and identify the cause of breakdowns or technical issues;
- Inspect vehicles to identify worn, damaged, or faulty components;
- Repair, replace, and maintain mechanical components;
- Use appropriate workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems to troubleshoot and repair faults;
- Carry out basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting where required;
- Ensure vehicles are repaired and maintained efficiently and to a high standard;
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns;
- Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, inspections, and parts used;
- Keep the garage, tools, and work areas clean, organised, and safe;
- Assist with other garage and mechanical duties as required.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and within a team;
- Candidates who are currently in Malta and with a valid work permit are given preference;
- Professional English is a must. Maltese is considered an asset.
Education and experience
- Previous experience as a mechanic is required;
