On behalf of our client, we are seeking a practical, highly capable Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of both internal office facilities and client properties.
In this role, you will be responsible for resolving client fault calls, carrying out scheduled equipment servicing, and performing general repairs across electrical, mechanical, and structural elements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a versatile skillset who can diagnose issues, perform manual repairs independently, and maintain high standards across all assigned sites.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Attend promptly to client fault call-outs, assessing on-site issues and delivering efficient repairs.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and utility systems regularly to identify faults, wear, or safety risks before they escalate.
- Perform routine maintenance on low-voltage electrical systems (e.g., replacing light bulbs, fittings, and sockets; cleaning, inspecting, and repairing circuit breaker panels).
- Execute scheduled routine servicing and preventive maintenance on company machinery, tools, and appliances.
- Carry out general building repairs as required
- Plan job requirements in advance and submit material/parts requests to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Execute ongoing general maintenance tasks to maintain safe, functional, and clean environments across all premises.
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrable experience working as a Maintenance Technician, Handyman, or Facility Support Technician.
- Candidates in possession of Electrical Wireman Licence A or B will be given preference
- Basic functional knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and general building systems.
- Strong working knowledge of standard maintenance methods, power/hand tools, common appliances, and hardware devices.
- Sharp manual problem-solving skills with a logical, solution-oriented approach to on-site fixes.
- Good physical condition, strength, and stamina to handle manual work, lifting, and equipment handling.
- Willingness to work overtime or handle urgent call-outs when operational needs arise.
- Driving License
