Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, system monitoring, and fault diagnosis for all facility-related systems.
- Perform regular inspections and evaluations of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to detect maintenance requirements and identify repair needs.
- Undertake a variety of general maintenance activities, including plumbing, basic electrical tasks, carpentry, painting, and other repair work.
- Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assemble and install furniture, fit fixtures, mount doors, and complete other installation-related assignments.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors and other departments to resolve technical matters, provide support, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Maintain precise documentation of equipment servicing, repairs performed, and operational data.
- Monitor maintenance service agreements to ensure they remain current, confirm supplier compliance with contractual obligations, and coordinate renewals as required.
- Provide assistance to fellow technicians and external contractors when dealing with complex repairs or specialized technical work.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently
- In-depth understanding of plant room operations and facility management systems
- MUST HAVE a valid drivers license and own transportation in Malta
- Knowledge on Legionella is an advantage
