Our client who has Hotels across Malta is looking for their Maintenance person. If you experience and fits in all the requirements and responsibilities then this might be for you.
Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Execute scheduled preventative care and systematic checks across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and climate control systems to guarantee seamless operations and catch defects early.
- Address emergency repairs and general maintenance tickets swiftly to reduce downtime and safeguard guest satisfaction.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix machinery faults and facility issues using practical technical expertise.
- Perform routine walkthroughs of the premises to pinpoint needed repairs, potential hazards, and structural enhancements.
- Keep precise logs of all servicing activity, structural fixes, routine checks, and equipment maintenance history.
- Partner seamlessly with front-of-house and housekeeping staff to resolve facility issues quickly and keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Complete additional tasking and specialized upkeep projects as operational needs arise.
Requirements:
- Background in plumbing and electrical upkeep, or holding an MQF Level 3 qualification (or higher) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- 'Active Enemalta License A and B certification (License B in refrigeration is highly advantageous).
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean police conduct certificate.
- Sharp eye for detail coupled with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, overnight coverage, weekends, and public holidays.
