Maintenance Manager

Our client is a renowned name in the hospitality industry. As they are growing, they are engaging a Maintenance Manager.

The Role

• Direct and coordinate all facility upkeep activities, supervising both internal staff and external vendor performance while adjusting operational workflows as needed to maintain uninterrupted service.
• Design and execute comprehensive project roadmaps, timelines, and work orders while providing structured leadership and actionable instructions to technical personnel.
• Keep senior leadership and departmental stakeholders regularly updated on project milestones and any potential disruptions to daily business activities.
• Approve procurement requests and service billing, reviewing supplier bids to secure optimal pricing while safeguarding quality standards.
• Inspect incoming supplies, machinery, and external contractor deliverables to guarantee full operational functionality across mechanical, electrical, low-voltage, plumbing, and general infrastructure systems.
• Maintain strict compliance across all maintenance activities in accordance with established organizational guidelines, occupational health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Exercise financial oversight by approving and tracking purchase requisitions, vendor estimates, billing records, and overall facility maintenance expenditures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a similar Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance management position
• A valid Local License A and Local License B. Have an HTD qualification
• Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
• Be proactive and hands on
• Have good problem solve and practical skills
• Know HVAC and ELV systems well
• Have strong experience in scheduling mainetenance work
