Facility Maintenance & Asset Protection
- Implement, execute, and monitor comprehensive preventive maintenance programs (PMP) across all hotel buildings, MEP systems, plant rooms, and guest facilities.
- Respond promptly to unscheduled maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations and guest comfort.
- Maintain all machinery, plant equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural assets to maximize operational lifespans.
Financial Control & Energy Management
- Ensure hotel facilities function correctly while keeping departmental, repair, and operational costs strictly within assigned budgets.
- Monitor daily utility consumption (electricity, water, fuel) and propose data-backed, cost-saving energy efficiency initiatives.
- Adhere to company policies regarding procurement, spare parts inventory control, and storage management.
Regulatory Compliance, Health & Safety
- Ensure absolute compliance with health, safety, fire, and security procedures across all hotel premises at all times.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date technical documentation, statutory certificates, service records, and inspection logs.
- Ensure all incidents, accidents, and facility hazards are formally logged, investigated, and escalated appropriately.
Team Leadership & Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Lead, train, motivate, and schedule the maintenance team, fostering accountability, skill development, and safety-first performance.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with senior management and Heads of Department (HODs) to coordinate planned maintenance around operational peak hours.
- Support front-of-house teams in resolving guest-related technical complaints, demonstrating service excellence and swift problem resolution.
- Carry out any other reasonable operational duties as assigned by executive management.

Education and experience
- Licence A and B is a MUST
- Proven experience in maintenance management or supervisory role is a must
- Previous experience in Hospitality Maintenace and Facilities is given preference
- Recognised technical qualifications in maintenance, engineering, or building services
- Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation, fire safety, and statutory compliance
- Experience in budget management, cost control, and utility consumption analysis
- Proficient in basic IT systems and maintenance reporting tools
