Junior Solar Panel Installer

South of Malta, Malta
Starting from €15,599 Annually Full Time Entry (0-12 months) Closing in 56 days

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Work closely with the lead installer to support the installation of panels;
  • Assist with loading, unloading, moving, positioning, and securing tools, materials, and equipment on site;
  • Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are prepared and readily available for each installation;
  • Assist with preparing installation areas by measuring, marking, cleaning, and ensuring the site is ready for work;
  • Support the team with the safe handling and positioning of solar panels and other installation components;
  • Keep the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards throughout the installation process;
  • Assist with basic checks of materials and completed installation work, and communicate any issues or concerns to the lead installer.

Requirements:

(not mandatory but beneficial).

 Physical fitness and ability to handle power tools and materials.

 Willingness to work outdoors.

 Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

 Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

 A valid driving license is preferred (to assist with transportation of materials and

equipment).

 No formal qualifications are required, but a basic understanding of renewable energy

is a plus.

Requirements

  • Basic technical skills or experience in construction, mechanical, electrical work, or a related field is considered an asset but not mandatory;
  • Knowledge and ability to use power tools;
  • Willingness to work outdoors and at heights;
  • Proficiency in English in a must;
  • Candidates having a valid driving licence are preferred;
  • Validity to work in Malta.

Education and experience

  • Previous experience with working on PV panels is considered an asset
