Industrial Painter

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Painter to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will assist the painting team with high-quality industrial and marine coating projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a shipyard or factory setting, with strong foundational skills in using power tools and preparing surfaces for coating.

Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Perform thorough surface preparation, including power-tool cleaning (using needle guns and grinders), degreasing, and power washing.
• Assist the main painting team with the application of industrial and marine coatings using brushes and rollers.
• Accurately mix paints and coatings according to the specifications provided in technical data sheets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines.
• Provide general hands-on support to the coating team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Requirements

• Experience safely operating power hand tools (e.g., grinders, needle guns).
• Ability to handle the physical demands of industrial and marine painting environments, including lifting, bending, and working with heavy equipment.

Education and experience

• experience working in industrial factories or a shipyard environment is highly preferred.
