Foreman Carpenter

One of our leading clients in furniture, are looking for an experienced Foreman Carpenter to lead a team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining safe and efficient work practices on-site.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and assistants;
• Read, interpret, and implement project blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications;
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure project deadlines are met;
• Inspect and verify the quality of work, ensuring compliance with project standards;
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials;
• Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow;
• Enforce health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment;
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members as required.

Requirements

• Proven local experience as a Carpenter, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role;
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, equipment, and materials;
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications;
• Attention to detail;
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills;

Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
